Deterministic Evidence.

Pass 6 mapped the unresolved frontier without weakening result gates. Pass 7 now preserves exact uneven two-team structure inside the private Engine Room, while degraded metadata fragments remain fail-closed. Candidate runs still cannot rewrite public results, markets, wagers, or settlement. The human Review Desk remains the command tower for adjudication, DESYNC truth, corrections, and supersession. Automatic recovery is live, 111 exact rosters crossed a zero-result-authority bridge, and open winner markets now drive the Bet live action without allowing DESYNC markets to hijack the battle card.

Battle #19390 seals the live betting canary

A real watcher-detected 3v3 exposed its winner market, rendered Bet live, and opened the exact market while the separate DESYNC rail remained available.

At 23:21:35 UTC, AoE2WAR detected Battle #19390 as an active watcher session. The live API attached winner market #424716 with status live for Scavanger_Ab, Jim, and Artefact against JPKBARTENDER, ajb, and MTer. The battle card rendered Bet live and routed directly to that exact 3v3 winner book. The independent DESYNC market remained available on the betting rail and accepted its own live wager without replacing the primary winner action. This proves the complete path from watcher session to market creation, session joining, live-card projection, routing, and wagering. Human review, result truth, payout, and settlement authority were not changed.

Build Note

The next live battle will seal the Bet live canary

The live winner-market projection is deployed; the next watcher-detected active battle will prove the complete public CTA path.

AoE2WAR has completed every static, policy, build, and deployment gate for the live winner-market projection. The remaining proof is deliberately real: an active watcher session must expose an open or live winner market, the battle card must say Bet live, and the click must open that exact market. A DESYNC market may coexist on the betting rail, but it cannot replace the primary winner action. This canary observes the next battle; it does not alter result truth, wagers, payouts, settlement, or the Review Desk.

The machine-promotion ledger is next

Machine conclusions need their own append-only authority rail rather than impersonating either parser output or human adjudication.

The next structural upgrade is a reusable machine-promotion ledger. Parser runs remain immutable observations. Human ReplayResultAdjudication remains human. A separate append-only machine decision can record policy version, proof bundle, result authority, public effect, market exposure, and financial review status. Exact roster promotions can then become reusable instead of hard-coded, and trustworthy results can prefill the Review Desk without silently becoming settlement truth. Protected-market battles will continue to require the appropriate financial disposition.

Live winner markets return to the battle card

Open or live winner markets now drive Bet live without allowing DESYNC markets to hijack the primary action.

The betting markets were already being created during watcher-detected battles. The live card was withholding them behind replay-team resolution and a generic market selector that could also encounter the independent DESYNC market. AoE2WAR now selects only an open or live winner market for the primary battle action. The DESYNC market remains available on the betting rail but can never replace the winner market. No parser result, Review Desk feature, wager, payout, or settlement rule was changed.

Battle #19387 proves the private Pass 7 rail

The first production Pass 7 run completed candidate-only while Jim's human-reviewed winner and protected market history remained untouched.

Battle #19387 produced private ReplayParseRun #2716 under parser aoe2war.mgz_hd 1.8.51, schema 2026-07-24.1, deterministic evidence pass 7. The run completed without a failure signature, remained candidate-only, and affected no public aggregate. Jim's already-reviewed winner stayed intact. The linked winner and DESYNC markets retained their own protected history. This is the intended architecture: stronger machine evidence arrives beneath human review rather than deleting or silently replacing it.

Open Battle #19387
Milestone

Deterministic Evidence Pass 7 reaches production

Exact uneven two-team structure enters the private Engine Room without weakening ordinary uploads, degraded fragments, public truth, or settlement.

Pass 7 is live after 101 replay regressions passed and 13 private-fixture conditions were correctly skipped. The installed mgz implementation remains honestly version 1.8.51; AoE2WAR's evidence identity advances to schema 2026-07-24.1 and pass 7. The ordinary upload parser remains fail-closed. Only the private candidate parser may preserve an exact uneven two-team shape such as 2v3. Metadata-fragment fallbacks remain on their prior authority because recovered platform metadata is useful evidence but not sufficient to expand the accepted team envelope. Strict result proof was not weakened.

Human review remains the command tower

Automation will complement the reviewer until its evidence becomes exceptional; it will not destroy the Review Desk on the way there.

AoE2WAR's Review Desk remains a first-class production system. Human adjudication, DESYNC truth, corrections, supersession, financial disposition, and the ability to reject machine conclusions stay intact. Better automation should prefill teams, winners, evidence, confidence, and recommendations so the reviewer works at a higher level. It must not erase operator judgment or rewrite append-only history. Even when machine performance eventually makes routine review rare, the human authority rail remains available for exceptional and disputed battles.

Automatic next-game recovery is armed

A one-minute systemd worker now notices new final recordings and creates only the missing private candidate run.

The next-game ingestion foundation is operational. Watcher metadata and client SHA-256 travel through the upload proxy. Saved checkpoints remain checkpoint-only. Final recordings require archive verification. A direct-curl systemd service checks the bounded post-watermark queue every minute with a maximum batch of one. It invokes the current immutable parser identity only when that exact artifact and pass have no completed run. The worker has candidate authority only: it cannot change GameStats, public aggregates, markets, wagers, payouts, or settlement.

Battle #17055 establishes the human adjudication bridge

An exact 2v3 battle received a narrow append-only stats decision without granting betting or settlement authority.

Battle #17055 supplied an exact five-player, two-team roster and concordant resignation evidence. Human adjudication #31 accepted the competitive result for statistics only: affectsStats true, affectsBets false. Raw GameStats remained unchanged. Public projection can display Jim, JeNaBeHT, and Tenenti as winners and Abrolle and dawoody as losses through replay_result_adjudication provenance. The decision did not rerun settlement, replace protected market history, or convert human adjudication into automatic parser output.

111 thin rosters cross the safe promotion bridge

Exact roster-only evidence becomes visible without inventing winners or receiving financial authority.

One hundred eleven historically thin replay rows received append-only ReplayRosterPromotion records after exact roster proof. Every promotion explicitly affects public aggregates only for roster shape, affectsResults false, affectsBets false, and settlementAuthority false. All 111 battles remain winner-unknown. This separates a useful question—who was in the battle—from the much harder questions of who won and whether money may move.

Pass 6 maps the unresolved frontier without weakening truth

The broad corpus pass classified what remained unknown and refused to manufacture a universal winner heuristic.

Deterministic Evidence Pass 6 completed across the unresolved historical final-recording corpus. It kept the strict result boundary: coherent complete winner and loser flags, decisive single-team flags with postgame proof, or exactly one fully resigned team. Partial resignation majorities remained review-only. Jim's 455 unknowns were separated into 202 saved checkpoints, 174 exact-roster recordings with no winner proof, 36 partial rosters, 23 financial-review battles, 19 disconnect-blocked battles, and one confirmed DESYNC. The unknown count became a map rather than pressure to weaken the gate.

The archive separates battles from checkpoints

Public history now excludes saved checkpoints and structurally empty watcher artifacts without hiding legitimate review battles.

The shared archive eligibility contract now rejects .aoe2mpgame checkpoints and watcher_final_unparsed rows with fewer than two named players while preserving legitimate .aoe2record review cases. The visible archive settled at 2,635 battles with zero checkpoints or thin structural artifacts. Direct archive loading, the API projection, and Live Games produced an exact zero-row difference. This is presentation cleanup only: no source replay was deleted, no finality flag changed, and no result or market truth was rewritten.

Bet on Desync goes live
