The map rewards planning because access is controlled, but it punishes plans that confuse safety with knowledge. Your walls stop units. They do not stop the opponent from having an idea. What is your earliest “the treaty is over” signal: the uptime, the monastery count, the forward villager, or the suspicious silence?
